We bought our first dedicated server for this project today - not bad if I say so myself:
Two - Intel Quad-Core Xeon X5355 Processor 2.66GHz 1333MHz
12 GB of RAM
A pair of raided Seagate SAS 300GB 15K RPM HD
and a pair of 1 TB SATA hardrives.
Its a good beginning.
